This transfer we have been so very busy. We had 5 zone conferences which were a lot of fun. We traveled to all of the missionary apartments for interviews and inspections. We collected a lot of junk that the missionaries had been accumulating.
I recorded 125 more or less medical incidents in the computer medlog. We had one emergency room visit and one hernia surgery, two sprained ankes that I was told about, and lots of colds/flu of varying degrees. No major illnesses except for our perenial pneumonia patient!!
We have been doing very well with our goal of attending Sacrament Meeting in every ward & branch in the misson. We have only one more to do next week. There have been 105 units. Each has its own personality.
We have one more stake conference for San Luis Obispo Stake on June 11-12.
We will be speaking in the Ventura 2nd Ward on June 26th at 9:00am to bid our final public farewell to the saints living in the mission.
One month from today our replacements will arrive and we will be off on a new adventure yet to be determined, but we will head home to Logan for some much needed R & R.
Today we are preparing for our last transfer. It is bittersweet. It is a stressful time with lots of preparations and possible disasters. Overall we have been very blessed and have overcome all the trials that have come along. Father in Heaven has been good to us and we recognize His blessings in our lives.
