26th & Final Goings 1 June 2011
How will we ever survive without them? They have been such valiant servants. At least we don't have to send any more home!
26th & Final Comings 30 May 2011
Here they are at the Santa Barbara Airport. One happy group especially glad to be here since their flight was delayed about an hour.

Seniors to the rescue
Here we are with most of our seniors. We held a Senior Family Home Evening with them on 16 May 2011 in the mission home. We decided to take some welcome photos with them.
Dr and Sister Skankey, our mission doctor and my personal hero and helper supreme.
Elder and Sister Argabrite serving in the Ventura Institute of Religion
Sister Ledbetter serving in the mission office.
Elder and Sister Curtis serving in the mission office.
25th Transfer
This transfer we have been so very busy. We had 5 zone conferences which were a lot of fun. We traveled to all of the missionary apartments for interviews and inspections. We collected a lot of junk that the missionaries had been accumulating.
I recorded 125 more or less medical incidents in the computer medlog. We had one emergency room visit and one hernia surgery, two sprained ankes that I was told about, and lots of colds/flu of varying degrees. No major illnesses except for our perenial pneumonia patient!!
We have been doing very well with our goal of attending Sacrament Meeting in every ward & branch in the misson. We have only one more to do next week. There have been 105 units. Each has its own personality.
We have one more stake conference for San Luis Obispo Stake on June 11-12.
We will be speaking in the Ventura 2nd Ward on June 26th at 9:00am to bid our final public farewell to the saints living in the mission.
One month from today our replacements will arrive and we will be off on a new adventure yet to be determined, but we will head home to Logan for some much needed R & R.
Today we are preparing for our last transfer. It is bittersweet. It is a stressful time with lots of preparations and possible disasters. Overall we have been very blessed and have overcome all the trials that have come along. Father in Heaven has been good to us and we recognize His blessings in our lives.
