18th Comings

We welcomed these new missionaries on June 28, 2010.

Quick Changes

We had a mini transfer meeting at the mission home on June 17 when Hermana Hanson headed for home just a little early so she could participate in the Hill Cumorah Pageant with her family in New York.  Here are the sisters that gathered for those changes of assignment:  Hermana Hatch, Hermana Calamaco, Sister Martinez who came to serve as a mini missionary with us for about a week, Sister Newhall, Hermana Hanson, Sister Ho Kum, and Sister Ballif. Sister and President Murri are there in the front basking in the beauty of the moment.  We were able to work in a trip to the Los Angeles Temple with Hermana Hanson before her departure.  A week later, Sister Doggett joined us from the Temple Square Mission.  She will be with us for a few months while she experiences her outbound time.
(The changes to the blog program are driving me crazy, so I don't know if I'll be posting much in the future. 
Suggestions from anyone would be helpful.)

Pomp and Circumstance

We had the great honor and priviledge of attending Charlie Joy's graduation from Cal Poly in San Luis Obispo - yes, right in our very own mission.  We were able to see Diana, Peter, Charlie, his girlfriend, Anna, Heather, Kristen, Fred, Grandpa Chick Joy, and met many Joy cousins and long time friends of the Joy family.  It was a wonderful event.  Here are some photos of the dinner on Friday night and graduation on Saturday afternoon.
